My Print Competition Journey – My first IPC
I thought I was dreaming but, I should keep my heart open to the unimaginable!
I want to thank from the bottom of my heart Tony Corbell, Lucy Huffstteter, Jim Irwin, PG, Richard Sturdevant, Angela Navarrete, Debra Klawetter, Anthony Aguirre, Michelle Parsley, Christie Newell and many other photographers for pushing me and supporting me to enter Print Competition.
This journey has been rough but, it has tough me a lot about relationships and about myself. I entered IPC, International Photographic Competition, for the first time, with 4 images with the goal of gaining experience. Surprisingly, the four of my images were selected to be in the Merit Collection. One of the photographs even made the Loan Collection as well as won the Fuji Film Award! I am thrilled to qualify for a Silver Medalist. A huge honor for me!
I want to thank all my clients for being willing to perform my crazy ideas but, special shout out to, Tamara Jenkins in “Will Power” (awarded Loan Collection and Fuji Film Award), Christina Woodley in “Reach”, Curtis King in “Confession”, and Damon Hooper in “Eye Contact”.
I, also, want to thank DallasPPA for always supporting us and I want to thank the JUDGES! I know your job is not easy; Thank you for being willing to give us your honest feedback because it helps us to understand how to get better.
There is so much to learn and discover. There is so much to do! There is no stopping now! More challenges have arisen! Congratulations to all my friends who entered! Entering is winning!!!!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!!!!!
